This course is designed to provide the fundamentals and analysis of amine treating. Participants will partake in operational discussions regarding best operating practices for amine treating.Topics Covered
- Understand process from removing hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide from natural gas (gas sweetening).
- Become familiar with the designs and operations of liquid-liquid treating and sour water stripping.
- Understand the health and safety risks associated with “sour gas” and recognize environmental issues.
- Understand filtration with particulate filters and activated carbon.
