Benzene Awareness
This course is designed to provide awareness level training on the hazards of benzene in the workplace. Participants will be shown various types of respirators that would be required to be worn if exposed to a certain amount of benzene in the air.Topics Covered
- Understand the health hazards of benzene and how one can be exposed to benzene.
- Learn how to control the exposure of benzene and how to protect yourself from it.
- Become familiar with the need for and use of respirators.
- Understand medical surveillance and medical removal procedures.
